Pakistan Army Observed Third Martyrs Day (Youm-e-Shuhada): 30th April, 2012		 Yaum-e-Shuhada was observed with perseverance and solemnity at all Garrisons of the country on 30 April 2012. The day was marked to commemorate the sacrifices of Pakistan Army, while protecting the motherland against internal and external threats. Wreath laying ceremonies were held at Yadgar-e-Shuhadas to pay homage to supreme sacrifices rendered by sons of the soil. Yaum-e-Shuhadas main ceremony was held at GHQ. Yaum-e-Shuhada ceremony was witnessed by a large number of families of Shuhada, Parliamentarians, services chiefs, diplomats and people from all walks of life including the media.

I was ferociously beaten at a Seminar, on 1`st May 1984, for asking questions,in a seminar,which was held for youth,and was titled Leadership Training Seminar. My questions were simple,but the organisers wanted just to float their dictations,they never wanted any interaction,in a hall filled with around 300 students,youth,no one else was asking questions,so i started doing that. I have always been the first of the rain drops,sometimes never could initiate a debate,sometimes causing a lot of learning. After 3-4 questions,the organisers asked me to stop,but i was still unclear,i insisted on getting answers,not only for me,for 300 other youth,who either was less confident,less articulate or least intrested,i wanted them to be like me,interactive,thus contributive later. It was Zia`s period, nowhere else a dialogue was encouraged ,how could the organisers be different. They stopped me first by abusing,and later they started beating me,7-8 of them,with iron chairs and their own brutal physical prowess. Thet dragged me down the stairs,construction material was lying there,i was thrown bricks at.some labourers unaware of the 1`st May,the labour day were working(no leave for them even on their own day),they saved me,one of them started abusing them,ashaming them,all quite elderly people,for beating a child,a youngster. His Bolna saved me,otherwise i would have been another Sialkot like tragedy . Working classes-only they need to Bol,only they will Bol-Speak 4 years later <b>...</b>
