PID Straight Line movement		 As a class project in Spring 2012, I worked with two colleagues to build an inverted plate to control the position of a ball using feedback control. The sensor feedback comes from a Logitech C525 webcam and the controller is implemented by a NI sbRIO 9606. There are three modes of use for this system. The first mode is the LQR full state feedback to demonstrate optimal control. The second mode is the PID feedback control that demonstrates the effects of steady state error rejection. The third mode is a manual control, where the user actuates the servos to control the balls position. All of the software was implemented in LabVIEW.
