WOLVERINE: Plataforma MCU de mais baixo consumo do mundo		 EN: this is a CNC milling machine made from scratch, with parts from old printers(stepper motors , calibrated metal bars and tooth belts),laminate floor used as bearings cases, raw steel, cut by me , painted, etc. The power drill is a PROXXON type, about 12000 RPM(good quality, high rpm and no axial movement powered at 12v). The connection between PC and cnc is made trough parallel port, isolated with optocuplors(safety regulations) . The circuit board of cnc (the stepper controller) is made trough toner transfer method, y have used two MCU PIC16F84A and as muscle y have used some N-channel power MOSFETs. No heatsink was required for them. As an improvement, y have used a low/high current system for stepper motors, they are powered at 12v 30% duty cycle in low current phase and with 12v 70% duty cycle in movement phase. That allow me not to overheat the motors when not used.The building time was about 5 months, in average 3 hours per day of work. The work bench took-me about two weeks,(made from raw steel, cut , welded and painted by me) and the computer for this CNC took me about 1 month (custom made plexiglas case) and y will present you in another video separately . How to make a CNC milling machine from scratch		 As a part of a project funded by the Government of Republic of Srpska, we, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Electronics, have developed a microcontroller system for wheelchair control by head movements. This kind of interface is intended to grant quadriplegics a level of autonomous motion, by allowing them to control their wheelchair by head movements. We are using inertial sensors to track head motion, thus enabling the MCU to translate the motion into wheelchair commands. The MCU is running an algorithm developed through our project. Bought this Seeburg SMC1 Disco Jukebox last week for $150. Of course it did not work for many years. You buy a juke not knowing what it will take to recondition to good working condition. Thats why people sell a jukebox. It stops working and not many jukebox repair people left in business. This Seeburg was built 03/06/1979 and looks original which means it needs TLC and some repairs. I shot this video as a tour of my SMC1 Disco Jukebox so if you are not familiar with this specific juke box you will learn basics - how it opens up and plays. I show the insides including the 160 Select-o-Matic Mechanism, SHP3 Amplifier, PCC Control Center, MCU1 Computer, Lighting, etc. Seeburg Jukeboxes are an interesting combination of Electronics, Mechanical Parts, Visuals and of course Music. This Video is NOT made for a SMC1 Disco Berg expert. First inspection showed all fuses are good. All parts are there. The box and glass are great. The only visible signs of damage were that someone left 3 old C Cell batteries in the MCU1. One battery corroded, the acid dripped down on the PCC, the ballast, the volume control and wiring below. Nasty clean up with baking soda water to neutralize. Cleaned all the contacts with good contact cleaner & old title strips. Since this one had the motor cover on, it really was cleaner than expected. Just had not been lubricated in forever. Pulled the Mech out - cleaned and oiled to get it playing like it is in the video however a couple internal shafts are <b>...</b>

This was my college seminar project, GrabBot. It uses an Arduino micro controller, a JY-MCU Bluetooth module, a DC motor driver (built myself, my design), a parallax ultrasonic ping sensor and 3 medium Lego power function motors. My project is capable of being controlled by any computer or device that is able to send characters. For the actual presentation, a Samsung Galaxy Tablet was used to control the robot using the accelerometer. The accel data would be converted to a specific character and sent to the robot. The Samsung Galaxy Tablet coding was made using Java in Eclipse, which I wrote myself. the program showed in the video was Putty, that was used to connect the robot to my laptop via a serial connection. it can also be controlled using Hyperterminal. Project grade: A If you have any questions regarding my robot or the coding, please, by all means ask. I am deciding if I should make a tutorial on how I made the robot, the coding, and how I got the Bluetooth module to work. If you want me to make a tutorial, I will.
