The shop caters mainly to tourists and locals looking for novelty items, but also stocks equipment for circus enthusiasts and professional performers. The website, on the other hand, focuses mainly on the professional market. Graham set up the business out of a passion to find and sell the weirdest performance equipment possible. Graham thinks the business is progressing well, but he does need some help with marketing and pricing. In part 1, finance expert Julia Bickerstaff, talks to Graham about pricing. Julia says that Weirder the Better needs to treat the store and website as two separate businesses with different price structures. She says the website should focus on the professional market, who are familiar with the products and will be quite price focused, while the customers who visit the shop are after a novelty experience and are probably less concerned about price. Julia says a common mistake businesses make with this shop-website business structure, is to have items on the website also for sale in the shop, and have what is in the shop for sale on the website. Julia says that they need to be separate and different. For a while now Ive been trying to figure out how to worship the Egyptian Pantheon during the Wheel of the Year Sabbats. I decided not celebrate their old days because I live in England and my surroundings are much different and so it would lack meaning; therefore I have to chosen to keep the wheel of the year and combine it with Egyptian mythology, some of which corresponds nicely to the stories behind the Sabbats anyway. It may seem strange how the myths are not in order of occurrence through the year, such as Osiriss death being succeeded immediately by Horuss birth (with the conception coming later), but this really doesnt matter. If you think of events happening over the years they would not be confined to a matter of months. Information was gathered by The Book of Egyptian Ritual by Jocelyn Almond and Keith Seddon.

My Love, My Life - e.116 - {New Neighbors}		 5 Selecting the perfect shade of foundation, choose cool or warm tones As a general rule you will find, there are several basic types of foundation to consider. To help you we have a list, which describes what each product is best for. This will include texture, coverage, pigment and colour. Although there are hundreds of brands out there and different brands, have different names or colour coding, for their own individual product. It is best to go to the make up counters and try different brands till you find the one you like best. Tip when you try foundations make sure you test on A/ back of hand for texture and how much pigment is in the product. B/ when matching the colour try it on your cheek blending down to the neck make sure it blends into your skin. C/ if you tend to have pink in your cheeks but the rest of your face is yellow based, dont choose a pink foundation, it can give you an unhealthy appearance, with a mask like effect or if the colour is too light or too dark (seeing the foundation sitting on the skin shows it does not match your skin colour) D/ you may want a sheer foundation or need a heavier coverage whatever you need you dont want the foundation colour to stand off your face, you want it to blend in to your skin tone. E/ try different colours after you have chosen the texture you like. F/ go outside and look at your skin colour in the natural daylight, it is impossible to see if it suites when inside a department store. G/ You may want to spend a lot on your foundation or as little as possible, so shop around.
